Tampa Bay Lightning:
I was a big fan of Tampa Bay's original uniforms, so I used them as inspiration for this concept. I also used lots of angles, because I think they complement the Lightning's logo (as you can see I brought back their old logo).
Top View:
I included a side view of the sleeve in the concept above, but I also thought I would post this top view to give you a better idea of the design of the shoulder yoke.

St. Louis Blues De-Edge
St. Louis Blues:
I wanted to try a super-sized shoulder yoke in this series, and since all of my favourite Blues jerseys have had shoulder yokes (and I didn't have any other ideas for them) I decided to try it on a Blues jersey. At first I tried it styled after their 1968-84 white jersey, but I didn't like the way the blue jersey looked, so it ended up being styled after their 1998-2007 jerseys. I also slightly changed the logo, getting rid of one of the outlines.
Thanks for visiting.

SG-94 Concept, by Jake88:
Jake88 sent in this awesome concept for the blog. I love the striping pattern used here, it works great with the logo in my opinion. I also like how the logo is on a green background on both jerseys, because I think this logo looks best on that colour background. I have no complaints about this concept at all.

San Jose Sharks De-Edge
The Sharks are the next team in my De-Edge series, so I thought this would be a good time to provide a brief review of their new look. I like that they eliminated one of the orange stripes from the sleeve and sock stripes, it makes those stripes slightly more interesting. I also like the removal of the shoulder yoke, without it the jersey is less busy. The updated numbers are also an improvement, and I don't even mind the front numbers anymore without the shoulder yoke to crowd them. The one thing I don't like is the removal of the hem stripes. Some jerseys look good without hem stripes (like the Sharks third jersey), but I don't like how it looks in this situation. Overall I would say this was a lateral move.
San Jose Sharks:
This is a combination of my favourite stuff from different Sharks jerseys. Most noticeably the shoulder/sleeve design from their 1998-2007 jerseys, and the striping pattern from their 2007-2013 jerseys.
Enjoy your weekend!
